The challenge

South African rugby still moves talent through WhatsApp clips, paper CVs and personal networks. Unions cannot see which affiliated schools are actually tracking wellness and injuries. Scouts search without a shared player identity. Universities rebuild shortlists every intake year.

TryTrack’s National Network sits on top of the school and club platform you already use. Affiliation is opt-in. Discovery only uses athlete passports with active consent. Day-to-day team operations stay inside each organisation.

Programmes keep their own data

Schools and clubs continue to capture wellness, attendance, injuries and matches inside their organisation. Nothing is shared automatically.

Players or guardians choose what to share — profile, performance, achievements, a non-clinical medical summary, or guardian contact.

Unions, scouts and universities discover

Affiliated unions review pools. Verified scouts search the marketplace. University recruiters run scholarship programmes against consented records.

Consent first

External roles never read another school’s player file.

Scouts, recruiters and union staff see athlete passports only when consent is active. Clinical notes stay inside the owning organisation. Schools that do not affiliate keep operating exactly as they do today.
