For Universities

University rugby recruitment with a shared player identity.

Run scholarship programmes against consented athlete passports, review suggested candidates, and move prospects through an intake pipeline — from identified to enrolled.

The challenge

Every intake year starts from a blank shortlist.

University recruiters rebuild prospect lists from school contacts, festival notes and forwarded videos. There is no consistent way to compare athletes, track who has been contacted, or know whether a player has agreed to share performance history.

TryTrack gives university organisations their own recruitment workspace. Suggestions and pipeline cards use athlete passports — not the school’s internal medical or coaching file.

University recruitment

Programmes, suggestions, pipeline and evaluation.

Scholarship programmes

Define programmes with a name, intake year and available slots so each recruiting cycle has a clear target.

Suggested candidates

Review athletes whose passports match the programme. Suggestions only include players who have shared performance or achievements.

Recruitment pipeline

Move prospects from identified through contacted, trial, offer, committed and enrolled, with the school director kept in view of their own players.

Prospect evaluation

Record skills, athletic traits and trial notes against a passport. Evaluations stay private to the university until you choose to share.

Consented contact

Guardian contact is only visible when the passport owner has chosen to share it with universities.

Recruiter role

University staff work in a recruiter workspace. They do not receive school-side access to wellness check-ins or clinical injury notes.

How it works

Set the programme, then work the intake.

01

Create the programme

Add a scholarship or intake programme with year and slot count so recruiting work has a destination.

02

Review suggested passports

Candidates come from consented athlete passports. Missing performance data is shown as not shared — not guessed.

03

Move the pipeline

Track contact, trials and offers. School directors are notified when their players are tagged as scholarship candidates.

Recruitment, not medical access

Universities see what the athlete agreed to share.

Medical summaries stay hidden unless the passport explicitly allows recruiter visibility. TryTrack is a recruitment and operations platform — not a medical provider.
